About Ramaiah College of Arts, Science & Commerce

Ramaiah College of Arts, Science, and Commerce was founded in 1994 by our founder, the late Dr M. S. Ramaiah, and offers both undergraduate and graduate degrees in Arts, Science, Commerce, and Management from Bangalore University. The college is authorised by AICTE in New Delhi and recognised by the Karnataka government. The college is also recognised by UGC under Sections 2(f) and 12(B) of the UGC Act of 1956 and has been reaccredited with an “A” grade by the NAAC.

Eligibility for BBA at Ramaiah College

· Eligibility for the programme is a pass at the +2 level (Karnataka PUC / ISC / CBSE / NIOS / State Boards) in any stream (Humanities, Social Sciences, Commerce & Management, Sciences) from any recognised Board in India.

· Candidates writing the +2 examinations in March-May 2023 may apply with their class X and XI marks.

· Students pursuing International curriculum must note that eligibility is according to AIU stipulations.

· Applicants pursuing IB curriculum must have 3 HL and 3 SL with 24 credits.

· Applicants pursuing GCE / Edexcel must have a minimum of 3 A levels with a grade not less than C.

M.S. Ramaiah College of Arts, Science and Commerce Placements

In M.S. Ramaiah College of Arts, Science and Commerce, 742 students admitted in year 2016-17, out of which 668 graduated in 2018-19. From this, 208 qualified students got placed with a median salary of Rs.324000 and 326 students got selected for higher studies. In year 2017-18, 760 students were admitted, out of which 633 graduated in 2019-20. From this, 306 qualified students got placed with a median salary of Rs.250000 and 295 students got selected for higher studies. In year 2018-19, 752 students were admitted, out of which 675 graduated in 2020-21. From this, 318 qualified students got placed with a median salary of Rs.350000 and 268 students got selected for higher studies.

Women Cell

Six faculty members make up the MSRCASC Women’s Cell, which also includes all female employees and students. The cell responds to different complaints made by female students and employees on campus. The complaints are addressed appropriately. An anonymous complaint/suggestion box has been placed close to the women’s cell in case the complainants are hesitant to approach directly.

Centre Of Holistic Education

A strong need exists to develop a more comprehensive strategy, an enriching fusion of academics and value efforts. The basic core of value education is a comprehensive awareness of this wonderful nation and its amazing culture. The transmission of these tried-and-true principles is what completes education. This moral approach assists children in developing into moral and socially responsible individuals. These enduring principles serve as the cornerstone upon which a country can build its path to prosperity and peace. On October 10, 2014, the Center for Holistic Education was established with this objective in mind. It presents unique lectures and discussions on gender, holistic education, human values, and current concerns impacting the nation’s youth. It also hosts activity-based personality development seminars and celebrates days such as Vivekananda Jayanthi, National Youth Day, Gandhi Jayanthi, etc.
